Patricia is the owner and senior accountant at PBS Accounting Solutions.  She has over 15 years of experience in the field, with responsibilities spanning audit, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, tax, financial reporting and business management.  She prepares all the accounting work and is responsible for reporting on an organization's margins, expenditures, productivity, and reporting costs.     

 

She has worked with companies such as The United Cerebral Palsy of Washington DC and Northern VA and the District of Columbia (DC) Chapter of the Knights of Columbus.  She works with growing and mature businesses with assets ranging from $1 million to $10 million, and her background encompasses a high degree of concentration in assurance services. She has experience in a number of industries, including real estate, nonprofits, financial services, and professional services.  

 

She earned an associate's degree in Business Administration from Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC), a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, and a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC).  She is also a member of The America Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
